Why testing matters.
You cannot tell identity or purity by looking at a vial. A certificate of analysis from an accredited, independent laboratory is the only evidence of what a product actually contains: the right peptide, how pure it is, and how much is in the vial.
Every product we sell with a COA was tested by an accredited, independent laboratory, and the report is in our library for you to read. Order wholesale and the certificate for that product comes with it. Need one in your own company's name? It is available on any wholesale order.
What you get
- Identity: is it the right peptide?
- Mass spectrometry confirms that the molecule in the vial is the peptide on the label. The certificate states whether identity was confirmed.
- Purity: how clean is it?
- HPLC measures how much of what is in the vial is the peptide itself, reported as a percentage. It is the number most buyers look at first.
- Content: how much is in the vial?
- The lab measures the milligrams actually present against the milligrams on the label. A high purity percentage does not tell you the amount; the content line does.
- Endotoxin and heavy metals
- Some certificates include these additional panels. Where a lab ran them, the results are on the report.
- How we test
- We pull a vial from our own stock and send it to an accredited, independent laboratory. The lab runs HPLC and mass spectrometry and issues the certificate. We publish it in our library with its sample number and lot, so you can read exactly what the lab found.

Questions about peptide testing
What is a peptide certificate of analysis?
A report from a laboratory that tested a sample of the product. It shows the sample number, the lot, the method used, the purity, whether the identity was confirmed, and the measured content.
What does HPLC purity mean?
The share of what is in the vial that is the peptide itself, as measured by HPLC. It does not tell you the amount in milligrams; the content line on the certificate does.
How is peptide identity confirmed?
By mass spectrometry. The lab measures the molecular mass of the sample and matches it to the expected peptide.
Does every product have a COA?
Most of our catalog is tested and published in our library. A product without a current certificate is shown that way, and we do not claim otherwise.
Can I get a COA in my company's name?
Yes. When you order wholesale, a certificate issued in your company's name is available with your order.
Can you test material I bought elsewhere?
Yes. We can arrange testing of your own research material through our accredited laboratory partner. Use the request form and tell us what you have.
